Micah joined the leadership team as shepherding pastor in March 2020. Micah has called Dayton his home church his whole life. Along with church ministry Micah operates a poultry and beef cattle farm. He and his wife, Krista, have three children.
Mike Troyer became a member at DMC in the year 2014 and is a manager at Helmuth Builders. Mike has served at DMC in the roles of youth sponsor, worship leader, and participated in the mentoring program.
Shawn and his wife Janette started attending DMC in 2019. He joined the leadership team as an associate pastor in March 2024. Aside from discipleship, he runs a poultry farm and is the father of three children.
Blake Showalter joined the leadership team as a Deacon in March of 2020. He is a full time employee at Valley Roofing, and enjoys farming in this spare time. Blake loves music and is apart of the worship team at DMC. He and his wife, Amy, have three biological children and are involved in foster care.
Roland Horst joined the leadership team as a deacon, in the spring of 2017 . He also teaches Sunday School and serves on various committees. He is employed by Poultry Specialties. Roland and his wife, Lois, have one son.
Buff and Debbie Showalter have been members of DMC since 1996. Buff's primary occupation is farming, he is also vice president of Poultry Specialties. In the past he has served the church as Trustee, Sunday School superintendent, chaired various committees and coordinates prison ministry.
Chester Brunk joined the team as an elder in 2021. He and his wife, Helen, live in Singers Glen with their three children. Chester faithfully serves as a sound man and also works as a building estimator for Stoneburner, INC. where he has been employed for the past 25 years.
Gerald was called to serve as elder in May of 2025. He is a carpenter by trade with a heart for missions. He and Janell, along with their son have been active in foster care. They live in the shadows of the Blue Ridge mountains near Elkton.
Jason joined the Leadership Team as an elder in May of 2025. Jason also serves as an usher and small group leader. He and Cassidy have a young daughter and own/operate a poultry farm in Mt Solon.
